Friendly Cove (Yuquot):
Your flight leaves from Gold River, down the Muchalat Inlet to the Nootka Lighthouse and the remains of the Village of Yuquot. Here, Captain Cook landed and was greeted in such a friendly way by the Mowachaht First Nation, that he called it "Friendly Cove". After viewing this important historic site, your flight will return to Gold River.

Friendly Cove and Hesquiat:
If the Pacific coastline calls to you, consider the route to Friendly Cove via Boat Basin. You will fly over lush, old-growth forest to Cougar Annie's Garden, Hesquiat Harbour and Escalante Beach. Crossing over to Nootka Island, we view Friendly Cove, and then return to Gold River over the Nootka Sound and Muchalat Inlet.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Total Flight time 45 minutes.
